Nifty Media index ended down 0.86% at 2255.65 today. The index has slipped 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd shed 3.59%, Network 18 Media & Investments Ltd dropped 2.20% and PVR Inox Ltd fell 1.60%. The Nifty Media index has soared 12.00% over last one year compared to the 15.56% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index has dropped 0.64% and Nifty IT index has dropped 0.54% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.05% to close at 19664.7 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.12% to close at 65945.47 today.
