Board of Power Grid approves investment of Rs 2578 cr for transmission system for solar energy zones

The Board of Power Grid Corporation of India at its meeting held on 27 August 2019 have accorded Investment Approval for "Transmission System for Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan", at an estimated cost of
Rs 2578.47 crore with commissioning schedule as December, 2020.
